Tia runs workshops for young people and their parents, creating space to learn and share calming massage techniques together that can then be used at home.

Prior to working as a massage therapist Tia was an A Level teacher, supporting young people with learning, studying and exam preparation.

Details of massage workshops for young people are listed below. Check dates for upcoming courses or contact Tia to arrange a private course.

Individual massages can be arranged for young people, please note that parents are kindly requested to remain in the room where the massage takes place when young people below age 18 are receiving a massage.

it was SO needed and we learnt so much!”

Young people & parent’s head massage workshop

Thursday 30th May 4.30pm to 6.30pm

Join Tia for a workshop that is designed to create space for parents and their son/daughter to take time-out together, learn and share head massage techniques, discuss strategies for reducing stress and anxiety focused around self-care, at a time of life that can be very challenging - and take back massage techniques that can be used at home.

The workshop covers learning a head massage sequence that is exchanged between parent/carer and their son or daughter, discussing self-care strategies for reducing stress and anxiety, a break with a home-made smoothie, and calming roll-on essential oils to take home. The workshop will take place either by the woodburner in the cosy ‘pig house’ at Botelet, or outside if the weather is fine.

Please book in one young person per parent/carer. All resources supplied, including notes to take home on giving a head massage. This workshop is suitable for young people age 11 to 16.

Costs £30 for each parent and child (£15 per person).
Book your place on this course.
