Indian Head Massage Diploma
During this course, Indian Head Massage is taught as a seated treatment working with oil directly on the skin, and includes massage on the shoulders, arms, neck, head and face. We also look at how to adapt the techniques for use through the clothes and also for use on the massage couch.
The course will run over three days in July 2019 (see dates below). It is an FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapists) accredited post graduate diploma, and is open to all complementary, beauty and sports therapists qualified in a recognised therapy which includes modules in anatomy and physiology. Prior learning and experience can also be considered as can those that are currently or shortly studying A&P. This Diploma is accredited by FHT for 20 CPD points.
The course will take place at Botelet in South East Cornwall - a rural a peaceful setting - over three days during July 2019. Attendance on all three days is required to gain the diploma. The course runs from 9.30am to 4.30pm on the following dates:

Monday 22nd July 2019
This three day course costs £320 per person.

During the three days we cover all the essential practical and theoretical knowledge necessary to offer a safe, effective and appropriate treatment to a wide range of clients. It is an invaluable addition to any therapies currently practised and an excellent treatment to take into the workplace.
The course teaches the European Approach to Indian Head Massage whilst offering learners an insight into the history and traditional techniques still practised in India today.
During the course, great emphasis is placed on self-care of the therapist and offer a supportive and friendly learning environment making each day fun as well as productive.

Assessment is by written evidence of 10 treatments, plus a practical demonstration of techniques and a written multiple choice paper which are included in the final day of the course.
Classes are kept to small numbers to ensure friendly and informative learning which is ideal for the more mature student or for those lacking the confidence to learn in a large group. There is on-going support following the course.

Full course fees are due 14 days before the start of the course.
Fees are refundable up to 7 days prior to the course date. However, an admin fee of £20 will be charged. You may send a substitute delegate providing they meet the course criteria.
In the unlikely event of having to cancel the course due to low numbers or other unavoidable circumstances, we will notify you 7 days prior to the date, and advise you of an alternative date/venue or provide you with a full refund.
